Ok guys- this is my first blog and I'm going to try to learn how to do this right, so hang tight and enjoy the vidoe clips, photos, and happenings of our girls at the farm ;p)
Pulled into the farm at noon on Saurday, it was our first taste of fall weather, windy & a cool breeze with the woodsy smell creeping in. It was a "Mares Gone Wild" scene in the front paddock. Quote by Margie "Sierra has discovered the fountain of youth with her new roomies". Arionna seems to be the ring leader taking the girls to fresh patches of grass hidden in the front paddock. Sierra and Breeze jumped the creek 3X's, bucked and let out wild whinnies to each other while Arionna guarded the green grass nearby. Minutes later they galloped to the top paddock and Sierra continued to run wild. I recorded a short 15 second clip on my cell phone of this & I'll try to post it later today. Clipped a few cockle-b plants near the shed and gave the girls a good groom; while grooming Arionna I felt a new patch of winter coat coming in on her rump, it's the same spot every year and a sure sign that winter is approaching. Burrhh..but it's been a long hot summer and it's time to pull out the sweaters and socks, Fall is here!
